GLOW is a non-profit organization founded in 1997, dedicated to the upliftment of weaker sections in honor of Dr. Sardar Gouthu Latchanna.

GLOW FOUNDATION

GLOW is a non-profitable & non - religious voluntary service organization. It has been functioning since 1997 and registered under the provisions of Andhra Pradesh Public Societies Registration Act 1350 Fasli (Act 1 of 1350 F). GLOW is founded in the name of Dr. Sardar Gouthu Latchanna, who is a freedom fighter and veteran leader who's entire life is dedicated to the development of weaker sections.

Meet The Team

R.Jhansi Laxmi

President

She is the daughter of freedom fighter “Sardar” Gouthu Latchanna. A postgraduate from Andhra University, she became a Group-1 officer in the Andhra Pradesh government. She held senior roles including Regional Employment Officer and Ex-Director, SC Corporation. Founder of GLOW, she pioneered efforts to serve society and inspired others with her dedication.

K.Venkateswara Rao

Vice-President

Born into an agricultural family in Guntur district, he later moved to Visakhapatnam and established a successful industrial unit as an ancillary to the steel plant. Following a fruitful industrial career, he redirected his efforts toward social development, focusing on uplifting the underprivileged and making a lasting impact on community welfare and progress.

Y. Venkanna Choudary

General Secretary

Chief mentor of GLOW, he is deeply engaged in social service. He holds a B.Tech in Mechanical, an MBA in Marketing, and a Bachelor of Law from Andhra University. Known for his philanthropic mindset, he has driven several innovative initiatives. Currently, he serves as Chairman of Rotary Club Visakhapatnam South, based in Gajuwaka.

Gouthu Syam Sundar Sivaji

Treasurer

Mr. Sivaji earned a Bachelor's in Printing Technology and later dedicated himself to social service. He served as Minister for Backward Classes and Tourism in Andhra Pradesh. Elected MLA six times from Srikakulam district, he held office for 25 years. His strong vision for backward class upliftment and rural education greatly supports the organization’s mission.

Sanjay Kumar Agarwal

Executive Member

Business is his profession, but service to society is his true passion. For the past 18 years, he has played a key role in running a Homeopathy clinic that operates at Gajuwaka Auto Nagar and Chaitanya Nagar. His long-standing commitment to accessible healthcare reflects his dedication to community welfare and consistent social involvement.

M. Srinivasa Reddy

He did B.Com graduate from Andhra University, he plays a pivotal role in coordinating and organizing various initiatives under GLOW. His dedication, planning skills, and consistent involvement have made him a crucial contributor to the organization's smooth functioning and outreach. GLOW’s mission of service and empowerment.

Shahinn Vajida

Executive Member

She holds an M.Sc degree from Andhra University. With a strong academic background and commitment to service, she actively contributes to GLOW’s initiatives. Her support in planning, execution, and outreach activities strengthens the organization’s impact. Her dedication to social welfare and GLOW’s vision and mission effectively.

K. Chinnam Naidu

He did M.Com graduate from Andhra University, he currently serves as Chief Accountant Officer at Sardar Projects (P) Ltd. Beyond his professional role, he plays a vital part in promoting GLOW’s ideology to the public. His commitment, communication skills, and belief in social impact make him a key asset in expanding the organization’s reach.
